The Sugar Lofts is a historic renovation in the heart of Tribeca. Every feature of this circa 1853 building’s façade has undergone landmark preservation. Equal attention to detail is present throughout the contemporary interior design. Masterfully restored in 2002, the former Grocers Steam Sugar Refining Company building offers 115,000 square feet of luxurious 2–4-bedroom lofts and penthouses. Iron window shutters, arched window openings, stone sills, and original façade details evoke its original grandeur. The interior, designed by Period, the award-winning firm of Rick Livingston, is equally impressive. The marble-wrapped lobby, the expansive high ceilings throughout, custom kitchens, and beautiful views of the park along the Hudson River all equate to a highly successful project.
